Neverland Netherlands # 6 - Utrecht

This weekend I went with Cecile and her boyfriend to a day trip to Utrecht. Utrecht is a municipality and the fourth largest city of the Netherlands. The a population +300,000 and an ancient city with buildings from the Early Middle Ages. Utrecht was the main centers of the Dutch golden age  until Amsterdam became its cultural center. The city sits in the exact central of the country and is an important transport hub for both rail and road transport. Utrecht University, the largest university of the Netherlands, as well as several other institutes for higher education
The cityscape features old medieval architecture, canals, the former cathedral Dom Church, and the Rabobank-tower.
