Iceland falls near the arctic circle and observes an almost constant aurora activity.
Aurora activity can be forcasted here: Alaska University On clear nights one can observe the flowing light in unpolluted skies. Ribbons of green, pink, and purple stretch across the sky in monstrous streams of colored light. They shift in both widths and heights to create tall stairways, feathered spurts, and walls of color.
