Los Angeles - UCLA's Game Arts Festival

Aliah's game Objectif
The UCLA Game Lab curated a collection of auteur games for the annual UCLA Game Arts Festival at the Hammer Museum in Westwood. The festival attracted a large crowd to partake in the assortment of different games lining the first floor of the museum.

Two of my friends from the UCLA Game Lab were premiering their game at the festival. The first of which was a card game called Objectivf by Aliah Darke. The game was demoed for a live audience, played by volunteers from the crowd. On the face of each card is a portrait of a various woman of different shapes and colors. The game is played where each of the players choose the most attractive woman from the cards in play. Beauty is subjective; each player must defend their aesthetic choices in order to discover who is the most objective player.
