Los Angeles - Machine Project's Exploring Chavez Ravine

In the 1940's, the Chavez Ravine was a dense Mexican-American neighborhood located where the Dodger Stadium sits today.  The community was forcible removed after a ten year battle with the Los Angeles municipality, later named the Battle of Chavez Ravine.  The tour focused on public memory, contested geographies, and included personal stories of Chavez-diaspora.
